Tea Party Desert Style Gloria's painting "Tea Party, Desert Style" has just been juried into the Paint The Parks top 100 exhibit and will open in St. Louis October 1, 2011 through January 9, 2012. Go to Paint America for information.

 

 

 

 

Gloria will work with K-12 grade students to learn about conservation while participating in the California Jr. Duck Stamp program at the Heritage of the Americas Museum in Rancho San Diego, Nov.-Dec. 2011. The children will be able to have their entries displayed at the Pacific South West Art Festival and Decoy Competition on February 12-13, 2012 prior to submitting to the State Stamp Competition.

Movement by Gloria Chadwick

"Movement"  painting was selected out of 922 entries representing 15 countries for the 2010  Birds in Art  show which opened Sept. 11 through Nov. 14, 2010 at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Museum in Wausau, Wisconsin.  Each year, 60 works are selected from Birds in Art to be included in a national tour and Gloria's "Movement" was one of the sixty!

More than 150 guests attended the Art of Hospitality public reception at the "W" San Diego.
 8 artists, including Gloria Chadwick,  completed their paintings representing the W’s theme of Surf, Sand, Chic at the event, and they could not have been more inventive!
